Kimberly W. Frank passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Kim was born June 30, 1958 in Vernon, CT and grew up in Framingham. She was the daughter of the late Edward Weld and Elizabeth (Hambrick) Weld. Kim was a graduate of Framingham North High School (1976) and attended the University of New Hampshire. Kim was an avid skier and was quite artistic. She made jewelry and had a talent for calligraphy. She enjoyed sending her homemade greeting cards to her many devoted friends. Kim was an exceptional waitress who worked for long periods at restaurants in Jackson Hole, WY, Portsmouth, NH, and Dedham, MA. She was impressive for her ability to take orders without notes and to deliver the exact request. Kim was a very loving person. She will be deeply missed. Kim is survived by her husband, Philip H. Frank, and father-in-law, Philip L. Frank, of Framingham; her stepson, Philip V. Frank, of Marlborough; her brother, Bruce Weld, of Port Charlotte, FL; and sister, Sharon Weld, of Oceanside, CA; her stepmother, Linda Weld, of Fayette, ME; stepsister, Debra Luby and husband Joe, of Milford, MA; and stepbrother, Jeff Hobson and wife Nancy, of Holliston, MA. A celebration of Kims life will take place on Saturday, February 20, at 1:30pm at the First Parish Church, 24 Vernon St., Framingham Center, MA. There will be a reception after the service in the Parish House. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA), 350 South Huntington Av., Boston, MA 02130, www.mspca.org; or to a charity of ones choice.
